Tonight was a big disappointment. We are frequent local diners and tonight we invited a close family member to join us for what... we promised would be a wonderful dinner (she had never dined at Pazza before). Our reservation was for 6 pm, we arrived early,and our server Karen kept visiting the table and asking us to order since "we only could have the table for 90 minutes". On aWednesday? We all prefer fish, and when ordered. we asked to have the fish cooked more rare to ensure it was moist and not dry. Using her fingers, she indicated all the fish dishes were very thin, and the kitchen could not accommodate our requests. Ichanged my order for the Ahi Tuna salad (which was delicious!) but our guest did not. Well, her fish was 3x the thickness theserver indicated and was cooked to her satisfaction. I felt mislead by the server. Karen never came back to our table toinquire if our dishes were to our satisfaction...but the busboy did. Today was Wednesday, they were not busy. When we leftafter 2:15 hours of fine wine and conversation, they were less than 50% occupied. So when patrons arrive early for theirreservation, why tell them they should plan on leaving within 90 minutes? When we left, I tried to have a conversation withKaren, but she could not be bothered. Brought my family here for a dinner for my sons birthday. Atmosphere was beautiful, and our server, Karen was amazing! My son is... a picky eater but she recommended the bolognese pasta for him which he devoured in seconds. My salmon was cooked to perfectionand the rest of the family was impressed with their orders as well. Hats off to Karen, the chef, and her awesome crew. I?ve dined in at Pazza twice and order takeout from there about once a week. They go above and beyond every single time! The... food is always incredibly fresh and the ingredients are high quality. The Burrata app and the fried meatball app are two of myfavorites. And to top off the fact that the food is amazing- the staff are also always so kind and attentive. Plenty of outdoor seating, which we were hoping for because of covid. Our waitress was awesome, answered all dietary restriction... questions, paced our courses perfectly, and even made us cappuccinos to-go despite it being past 9:00. The pizza was perfectlydone, though less crust and a bit more topping would be even better. Presentation was great, they even split the pasta dish fortwo!
