This is one of the worst McDonald's restaurants in the area. They are always extremely slow. Update on 10/27/18 - freshly... renovated but ketchup dispensers are still empty, as usual. SMH. 10/16/22 - they often give me the wrong food or fail to followcustomization instructions. Read more
It seems one of the staff at the drive thru here has a problem with hygienic practice because we saw her handled our food... without proper PPE, but when she saw us wearing face masks, unprovoked, she got hostile and threw our and our child's food atus. Read more
Beyond a doubt the worst dinning and costumer service experience history at any dinning establishment anywhere for the last 3-4... years. There was a day where McDonalds and its proprietors stood behind its service, products, food and personnel but that dayhas long past at the Yellow Springs Frederick MD location. Lets start of by saying that I have been a costumer at thisMcDonalds for well over 20 years as a resident at the Whittier Community. Obviously mistakes have occurred during our longdinning experience but the overall experience prior to these last few years has been pleasant, trusting and positive. Over thecourse of the last 3-4 years it has appeared that both the proprietor and management simply do not care. We have encounteredissues varying with food quality, accuracy and have witnessed arguments instigated by staff with costumers both in drive thruand within the restaurant. It has gotten so bad that we have stopped dinning at the restaurant as we never know what is going tohappen. Recently we encountered multiple issues where we specifically requested no inions on quarter pounders / double cheeseburgers and missing items from our order. The response has been less than hospitable, during one circumstance we returned to theMcDonalds to address the issue and the manager openly took our food to the back area to ensure that onions were included andquantified by looking at the receipt as if we were not being honest. then and only then was our food order redone after a 13minute wait and no apology was provided other than "here". On another and the latest incident, we were missing 2 quarter lbs and2 double cheeburgers from our order. I attempted to contact the restaurant and the listed phone number to my surprise has notbeen in service for a long time period (mind you the phone number was still listed as active). We placed an order for pick up for some fries and a kids meal. The kids meal was the worst... tasted like stale food. The... nuggets were too hard like a rubber band and it seemed like the fries was sitting inside the kids pack for a LONG time. I havehad McDonalds food in the past at other locations but only experienced this here. My suggestion is at least keep the food freshin the kids meal. Read more
