Attended this pub during the midst of Harvest Festival, it was extremely busy, and wait times were to be expected, which was no... issue. Drinks were okay, the food however, was excellent. It was quality and full of flavour, and the staff working was veryfriendly which made for a positive experience. Read more
Go for the beer and ambiance. Stay away from the food. They will tell you that it's a half hour wait but its going to be an hour... (for a salad and a sandwich)....they will give you cold food that doesn't even match the menu description. The crispy chickensandwich made of pulled chicken was actually just cubed chicken formed together with melted cheese. Nothing crispy. Nothingpulled. Great scene and beer, but the food is garbage, or close to garbage ? and $$$. For the two orders of fish and chips, it was hard... to tell where the food ended and the soggy paper plate began - a soggy tasteless mess. The nachos were mouth-puckering coveredwith a triple-sour trifecta of feta, pickles, and barbecue sauce ? a terrible combination. The burrito bowl was the only edibledish, although the way it was served (paper bowl) had nothing to do with a burrito. I?d go again for the beer and scene though,but will certainly pass on the food. Summer experience here is good! Very freeflow experience, walk over to the bar and get a drink or get some food. Buzzer/pager... system works well so you can wait at your table until food is ready. Approximately 25min for us. Sitting on the roomypark/patio in good weather is the core of the experience. If I had to sit inside I would have been disappointed! Read more
