The mussels were incredible! Dogs allowed on back deck, though we put 2/3 back in the car because their excitement ruined the... chill vibe of the place. Read more

All of the tables were open when we were seated. The 3 of us waited 90 minutes for just two of our 3 entrees, and my friend... had to send her salmon dish back for poor taste and quality. We paid for our tasty but small side salads, and the overpricedwine that was served in plastic glasses ($96 dollars without a TIP) and we left before the 3rd entree was even served. Ourserver ?s excuse was that they had a lot of take-out orders and she made no apologies for such poor service! The food andatmosphere look great on the website, but the whole experience was a disappointment! And I missed my ferry! Read more

Our experience echoes others who?ve reviewed Blooms during the last three years. We dropped in while the volume was low, with... plenty of empty tables, but were given the impression that we were something of an inconvenience because we hadn?t made areservation. They served their wine in plastic cups, which is bizarre. I?ve visited tasting rooms all over this planet?wineriesare proud of their wine and serve it in, if nothing finer, at least glass. What winery likes people to taste their flagship winefrom plastic? Our server poured Cabernet Sauvignon directly from a freshly opened bottle, too, which is another oddity for awinery proud of its product. No planning ahead to decant, eh? Next, on the deck as we were, imagine our surprise when someonebelow us began drilling on the deck posts. Nothing like pondering a $23 hamburger from the menu while feeling the boards vibratebeneath our feet and talking to each other over the atmosphere of power tools. Lastly, but not leastly, we couldn?t help butgiggle when the server gave us ?permission? to take our unfinished Perrier (again served in plastic) with us. Why thank you?howgenerous. We decided to skip on the burger, on any appetizers, or any further wines. At least she brought us a glass of ice. Aglass. For the ice. In the future we?ll give another Whidbey winery a try. Notice in all this I didn?t say one word about theactual quality of the wine. I invite you to reach your own conclusion. I?d give Blooms fewer stars, but this is the era ofCOVID, so I presume everyone is short-staffed and struggling with personnel. Read more

The garden and outdoor seating is beautiful and the food was so fresh and delicious. Everything was natural and nutritious, we... had delicious grass-fed burgers and amazing kale salad. Our server Laura was kind and helpful and we enjoyed one of the bestcups of coffee ever! The overall experience was lovely and the vibes were wonderful. Read more
