We visit WF whenever we are passing through Bodega Bay for many years now but never wrote a review.... This time during our... Labor weekend trip we stopped by on the way to grab couple of pastries & bread . They have a lovely garden with incudesveggies , herbs, fruits etc... we fell in love with their garden when we visited them first time... from then we always make ita point to take a stroll through the small garden. Earlier ( before pandemic) we use to go inside the bakery & choose from thewide variety of artisan breads & pastries it was so fun ... now they have stopped it ... hope they start it again... same withthe garden too ... we miss checking out the garden .... Anyway, I purchased their whole wheat bread which we really enjoy &couple of pastries... everyone enjoyed the special treats especially the kids... We have tried all their bread which aredelicious . Do check it out ... they accept credit cards. I enjoy the drive too. Read more

While out on a hike I met a wine tour guide who promised me the best scones in three countries could be found at Wild Flour... Bread, so I stopped by to see for myself. Plenty of vegan options (a scone, two cookies, and many of the loafs of bread on theday I visited). I?ll stop by every time I?m in the area to have a scone and bring a loaf home, the tour guide was absolutelyright. Also 10 stars for the employees who were kind and knowledgeable when I visited! Wood fired sourdough bread that is just delectable! The sticky buns with a lavender latte is the only way to spend some time in... their beautiful garden. This place is really special. Read more

I researched this place ahead of our Labor Day weekend trip up north from Silicon Valley. OMG. First let me share that we love... Acme bread that we can source at our local market and at Farmers markets in our area. We chose the multi seed round and it camewith Uber-toasted pumpkin seeds (yum) and a nice crumb inside. Check out the photos. We paired the bread with cheese from thecheese shop less than a mile away. So good! We chose a seasonal peach-pecan scone and a Gluten-free chocolate hazelnut cookie. These sweets were split across the three of us. The bread is a 4.5, scone is a 5 and the cookie a 4. Note: the cookie has lastedas a sweet tooth snack over 3 meals (it?s huge and a little goes a long way). Read more

Wild Flour Bread is somewhat off the beaten path, but off you're driving from Santa Rosa out thereabouts to the Sonoma Coast or... just rambling around in that area, then it is certainly worth the stop at this bakery. We were passing through to get to Highway1 making our way to SFO and stopped for breakfast. They have no indoor shopping right now and the line to the window forordering is organized under a tent. Wasn't busy on the Friday morning we stopped in and we enjoyed 2 different scones of the 5choices they had baked that morning. Delicious! Wish that we were staying around longer to try their bread as well. Gorgeousgarden where we wandered around and ate our scones. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving by. Read more
