We used to enjoy Boston Market for an occasional, quick and easy dinner out. It was never great, but passable. During the height... of the pandemic we did a take-out once and was very disappointed. We excused the poor meal because of the difficult times andgave them the benefit of the doubt. We tried again tonight, using the BOGO I received in an email. We ate our meal inside, tohave the full dining experience. My God, it was bad. My husband ordered the quarter dark meat chicken dinner. If that was achicken, it was the smallest chicken that I've ever seen. I think they're trapping the pigeons off the roof. I had the meatloafdinner, the portion was a little larger, but it was almost tasteless. The only flavor you get from their food is salt. Lots ofsalt. I've honestly had better meals at hospital cafeterias and for less money. Back in the day, Boston Market used to be great.They are now a pale imitation of what they used to be. Really sad. Ordered 2 country fried chicken meals and they forgot to add the gravy on top of the country fried chicken. In addition, there... were only 2 country fried chickens available and one was smaller then the other. The employee brought it to my attention andoffered me an additional side at no charge to make up for the smaller country fried chicken on one of the meals. Due to bothmeals not having gravy added to the country fried chicken but offered me an additional side at no charge to compensate for oneof the meals, I will give this service 3 stars instead of 4. Had both meals been available in even proportions, I would havegiven my experience a 4 star. Not quite 5 star experience due the food not appearing to be fresh. Sadly disappointed. Service was great but I cannot say the same about the quality of the side dishes. The ribs are okay and the... chicken is good. The creamed spinach tastes like it came out of can ???? and the rice is lacking flavor and has too much pepper.To add to our disappointment, Boston Market discontinued the stewed apple side dish. The large chicken nuggets were broken off pieces of breast or the white meat. They did have a good kick to them though. For a... minute I thought I had gotten something from Panda Express 12 pieces jammed into a tiny container...that's why those largenuggets weren't large. Not what I was expecting false advertising for sure. Didn't look anything like big banner in window orweb site. Finacé got the garlic herb chicken combo plate that was decent and flavored...broccoli ???? was good. Cornbread notso much it was really grainy, no flavor. No pics go and find out for yourselves. I have to admit it's been a couple of years at least since I visited Boston Market and nothing much has changed. The chicken... tasted great and I had double Broccoli which was good as well. Very consistent food quality here. Read more
