I was there mid-day Saturday for a fund raiser. Food and service were both top notch. I have been to other restaurants with the... same big group and sometimes we have had to wait a long time for water to be placed on the tables. Not at the Manhattan! Theybrought water soon after they let us in. The room looked really nice and our group had a great time. Read more
Wonderful menu selection and atmosphere for a night out. The menu has a variety of beef and seafood options that look delicious... as well as pasta and,my favorite, a double cut pork chop. They also have a large wine and cocktail selection as well as areasonable corkage fee. Reservations are suggested because the wait for walk ins can be lengthy during busy times. Read more
Just another "Boomers only" restraunt in Fresno. I'm not sure what's going on with the "Four Corners" and why they do this, but... again horrible service for young couples even with reservations (and we indicated it was a birthday dinner). I've been heremultiple times to celebrate my birthday, but always with my mom. Never had a complaint. When going with just myself and myboyfriend this last year, even with reservations and multiple tables open we were sat at their worst table. The older serversalso became rude when we asked to move. This eating establishment is only a block from where I live yet I've only been there a couple of times: once around 30 years ago... and then again last night. I suspect I wasnt all that impressed with my first visit, but I got to say -- last night's visitwith my wife did not disappoint. We arrived at around 5:00 pm which happens to be a happy hour. It's not a happy hour fordrinks, but rather for their appetizers which are 3 for $20.00. We ordered drinks and 3 appetizers: fish tacos, onion rings,and skewered chicken with cabbage. I had a margarita and my wife had Hendricks on the rocks. Margarita was good but nothingspecial and the Hendricks is what it is. The appetizers, however, were another story: healthy portions and delicious. We werethinking we might be ordering a dinner afterwards and splitting it but we were full up on the appetizers, so we just ordereddesert -- the creme brulee, which might have been the best creme brulee I've ever had. Oh boy! So I?ve wanted to eat here for quite some time now? The service was great and they had us in and out pretty quickly,... parking was good and the ambiance was pretty cool to. I ordered the New York steak because that?s just about the only steak onmenus. It was cooked perfect but after the first bite I knew that it was choice meat? Not at all what I expected from one ofFresno?s classic restaurants. I asked the waitress if it was prime or choice and she said it was choice? I guess there having ahard time getting prime meat since COVID. I?ll go back again as soon as they get better meat. Over all experience was good I wasjust expecting more I guess. Read more
