Food was pretty bland. Came in for lunch... Wife and daughter got the chicken Cesar salad. Chicken was overcooked, dry, and had... no flavor at all. Not even salt or pepper. No salt or pepper on the table either, and no knives, despite the lettuce and chickenbeing cut quite large. Club sandwich was ok, but pretty small. Bread to filling ratio was a little bread heavy. I've ordered take out several times and never have been disappointed. This is the 1st time I've actually eaten in this location.... Took my husband for his birthday. Lots of wonderful choices, but we really wanted to try their wood fired pizzas. They arewonderful, as was their selection of draft, bottled beers, wines and cocktails. The hostess was sweet and the wait staffpatient and very professional. The interior is peaceful. Definitely want to visit inside again. Update: I?ve been back and increased my overall rating to a 4. On my return visit the service was really good and the food was... good as well. This is a place I look forward to going when I?m in Front Royal. Previous post below: I had dinner here at itsprevious location. This was my first time in this location. The food was good, I got the three way pork, and the beer was nice.Service was good despite there being only one. (She did an excellent job considering she was also hostess forawhile.). Ambience is good as well. Parking is nonexistent in that you have to park across the street at a city park. Theywere ?out? of a few items but in this day of logistical challenges stemming from the overreaction to COVID I do not hold thatagainst them. Read more
