Was at a Bob Evans 3 miles down the road that couldn't get it's stuff together and came here for a very pleasant breakfast.... Great service and good food. just wish the coffee was a little stronger. Read more
Things sure have change here and definitely not for the better. We actually visited earlier this week in the late afternoon hrs.... After getting a table cleaned we finally sat down. We ordered our food and rolls were brought to us, they were small and overcooked, crunchy on outside. Finally got waiter to take them back to get fresh ones served. Then we had to ask for our coleslawwhile waiting on the food. The slaw was slimy just not right sent it back right away. Wasn't sure why it looked that way norwanted to try it. I ordered the country fried steak which had a spoon of brown country gravy, I know it supposed to be white andit had mac-n-cheese mix in it. I got mac-n-cheese with meal but supposed to be on side and it had what appeared to be lettucepieces in it. So meal was horribly put together so I get the manager whom only could say is "I'm sorry", then he walked away.Wow, I know the younger generation are stepping up quickly to management, however, most are not trained enough for thatposition. They lack social skills, customer service, cleaniness, all the things a manager should be trained for. I know today'sworld is different especially when we see that most of the younger generation are stepping up to work, but, whomever is doingthe job should be trained more for the customers to be happy. Ive been going here for more than 15 years and it just saddens meto see the changes that have happened since COVID-19 hit. It seems to be happening everywhere I go anymore. Let me start off by saying; Chris is an amazing server and human! He turned my frown upside down???? when my eggs came out and... weren't what I had ordered, he promptly brought me new ones. Even though the food was lacking, in my opinon, the service wasgreat! Friendly employees for sure. But the kitchen needs help being more consistent. My eggs were runny, ordered over med. Mybacon was hard and black, ordered "crisp not limp". Toast was kinda burnt on one side, not even toasted on the other. And can weplease have real butter on our toast?!? Took my girlfriend and niece out to dinner. Took 5 minutes to greet us. Only 1 other family in there. Food and trash all over... the floor. Waitress took order. Niece only wanted cheddar potato soup. After 10 minutes comes to tell us they were out and wouldbe at least 20 minutes to unthaw and heat. My biscuits were rock hard. Home fries looked to be refired and were a dark greesybrown. Had to ask the Waitress all 3 times for refills. At this time we were the only table she had and only table IN THE ENTIRERESTAURANT. Now I know why. Terrible service. She spent more time flirting with another waiter than focused on her table. Foodwas mediocre at best. Manager was as clueless as the staff. The last few visits at this location has been okay at best but thistime was the icing on the cake. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. It was really dead on a Wednesday morning, only a few tables seated. I think they were understaffed, but with only a few... tables you'd still expect normal service. We were seated by a prep cook (I think). It took forever for our food to come and itcame at all different times. The food was good though, which I guess is the most important. Read more
