Nice place, chill vibe.. Waiting time was at least 15 min to sit, 10 min for drinks, and 30 min for food. Great menu and... options, fresh & local food (drink pretty small) The service was fine, serving without too much effort. Overall seems likedesigned to sell food, good food, but less of a restaurant experience. Read more
I liked it and would return regularly if I were a local! The hibiscus ginger mimosa is really good (I should try more... ginger+wine drinks at home), and the Old Florida Sampler was a great tour of the foods of the state; I found it refreshing thatthe menu doesn't automatically assume that meat must be the center of every meal. And while I usually find claims of local /organic kind of empty, Civilization is explicit about exactly how much they spend in the local community, which I appreciate. Read more
