El Indios is a constant favorite when not in the mood to cook. The food is always hot and fresh, and the staff is always... friendly and quick with everything. My favorite item to get is the Carnitas platter. A big container of rice, beans, lettuce,salsa, cheese, and sour cream topped with chunks of pork meat. Served with two flour tortillas on the side. It's best pairedwith a large Horchata for a refreshing drink. I typically get my food through the drive-through, but they have a nice coveredarea for eating outside and an open place with tables to eat at. They have a stunning mural along the wall that brightens up thespace. Suppose you don't know what to order. In that case, I recommend going over the menu before entering the drive, as theyusually have a line. Read more
Took a quick trip up to Gainesville to drop off my son and stumbled upon this hidden gem. So close to campus on NW 13th street,... this laid back, fast food Mexican restaurant serves authentic tacos, burritos and even breakfast. They offer takeout, pick upand drive thru and are open from 9am - 10pm Monday - Sunday. Tacos are offered in hard or soft taco with a choice of groundbeef, chicken, veggie or bean. 2 large tacos were loaded with lettuce, slasa and cheese our order came with 3 and they weredelicious. The Taco Salad was a large flour tortilla bowl stuffed with fajita chicken, black beans, lettuce, cheese salsa andguacamole with a side of dressing on the side. Don't skip the guacamole...it's one of the best and the homemade salsa is sofresh with lots of cilantro. Portions are large, which is perfect if you're driving home, you don't need to stop again on theturnpike. Read more

The staff will make sure you get everything you wanted and take the time to help you, even if they're busy. It was a perfect weather day, highs in the mid 80s with a breeze and eating here was a pleasure. Other than the dirty tables, it... was nice. Food was good and fresh. We got a grilled chicken burrito, grilled chicken soft taco, cheese quesadilla, shreddedchicken nachos. All food was good. I just wish portions was a little bigger. Shredded chicken was not as good as the grilledchicken. And cheese quesadilla was overpriced for what it was. I did ask for fresh jalapenos, she charged me, but I never gotit. I was disappointed in that, and I usually don't like to repeat something that I have paid for and was on their receipt. Read more
