Finally made it. I've been wanting to have some grub here for a long time and it's worth the wait. We got there about 11 am at... opening time and before we knew it the place was packed. Plenty of parking so make sure to put it on the must eat list. Pizza bythe slice or whatever. The salad was terrific with the homemade dressing. I read an article that said this a place you have to visit when you are in Gainesville. I decided to try this local restaurant... out and I'm glad that I did. When I got there, I was greeted by a very friendly employee who took my information then directedme to the back building. The back building had a toy store, a bar, musicians, and you could sit if there was room. I enjoyedlooking at the unique toys/gifts available. I was then called to the front to sit. The walls are covered with art work which isgreat to look at. The food was very good. I ordered a flight of soda to taste the different soda that they make, the flight evencame with a handout explaining the journey of the sodas. I then had a small salad, I ended up taking half of it home. The saladwas definitely unique and I highly recommend it. I then ordered a steak and cheese calzone, I ended up taking some of that backhome also. Desserts were to go, it was fun looking at pictures of the dessert through a viewfinder. Super impressed with the service, homemade root beer, and ginger ale. The salad was fresh and original. The pizza had some of... the best sauce in Florida. I've seen this place on all the must do lists and finally made it there. This place is awesome. The atmosphere is so unique and... the food is so good! Their pizza and salad were so tasty. If you go make sure to take a stroll through everything, so manycool things to see. They also have a store in the back that carries novelty items. If you're in the area visit them. Read more
