Decided to try Hersheys with my husband while we were in the area. We were greeted and seated right away. We loved the vibe, it... felt like we were right at home! The live music was so fun and upbeat. If we had more time we would have stayed to listen &dance. We shared the fried chicken, apple pie and pecan pie. All delicious!! Newcomers are NOT welcome. This was my first time here and I was looking forward to listening to the band and have a couple of... beers. Unfortunately, neither bartender would even look in my direction let alone serve me. No hello, no be with you in a sec.Nothing. It was palpable how unwelcome I was and clear they did not want me there. As a solo female it was downright creepy. SoI gave up and left. This place is strictly for regulars. Read more
I had not been to Hersheys in a few years. The event I recently attended was held outside under a "tent-like" structure. It was... very COOL....even though the weather was rather warm for September!?! The food was wonderful.... especially the Fried Chicken!The Service was very good.... those girls were kept busy and they produced!!! I've been 5 or 6 times, to see certain bands. It's a family friendly and fun place. Sound output not ideal from room shape... acoustics or equipment. They serve large portions of well above avereage bar food. I think some peeps been going there fordecades. Staff is 100% friendly and hard working. A few entitled regulars don't know they are rude when they loudly yell anorder at an already swamped hustling bar tender. Yeah, there's a few neanderthals present. Read more
