The atmosphere was different but not bad in any sense. The food was good and made from scratch but a little different than what... mama made growing up. The meals were filling and the cost was on point. The baked goods were plentiful and the Cinnamon rollslooked amazing. I had the steak tacos which were good but the tortillas were not mama's for sure. Couldn't figure out what wasmissing but if your going homemade just take that extra step for authentic just my opinion of course. The Mrs. had the biscuitsand gravy but didn't consume it all so I tried it and it was ok. Gravy was on point with plenty of flavor again the biscuits wasmissing something. Son ate the grill cheese which he is the critic of and didn't eat it all because the cheese was not meltedcompletely. Kids! He is 13 and has an opinion that most kids his age agree on. The fries though were delicious and we devouredthem at the end of our meal. Drinks were free refills and self serve which is good to see. The decor was out there and the vibewas something to admire. The food over all was good and the employees were helpful. The crowd came in shortly after we sat downso this place does get busy around lunch time. I would eat here again. Restroom were clean which my wife is always excitedabout... Read more

Coffee was okay. Took 25 minutes to get 6 drinks. Then, when we complained about one of the drinks they put us behind the rest... of the line, so we had to wait even longer. ???? Cashier didn?t seem to know the menu either. There are other places to getcoffee in Galveston that we like better. Read more

This place came highly recommend by the owner of the RV resort we were staying at. My wife and I agree that this was one of the... best meals we have had in Galveston. The service was excellent, the staff was helpful and very pleasant as were the owners. Theplace is a family owned and operated business and all food is made from scratch and from their own recipes. The prices were verymodest and did not reflect in any way the superior quality of food and service. We paid half as much as we did at otherrestaurants on the island. We also thought the decor and music was very pleasant. The old school arcades gave everything a verynice touch. I highly recommend this place if you are in Galveston and want a good quality meal at an excellent price. This willabsolutely be on our list of to go places. Read more

A great place with a variety of foods. Good American comfort foods. I had some loaded fries with chilli, diced tomatoes,... halapenios, and avocado.it was delicious. Has a great atmosphere. Lots of paintings, artwork, pictures and lights on the walls.A smaller section with live music and a bar I think. Overall recommend to check this place out. Read more

This is a very eclectic joint. I had an Al Capone Italian sandwich with the best tasting tater tots. My wife had a brisket... quesadilla which was delicious. They have a varied menu, lots to choose from. We will definitely return. Read more
