We stayed at the hotel for two nights and I loved it. The rooms were spacious, the beds ultra comfortable and everything was... fantastically clean. The maid service was great and the staff was so kind and friendly. There were small things in the room thatI really appreciated like the bathrobe, vanity lights, make up removing wipes, great new fittings in the bathroom and abundanceof soft clean towels. I also have to say this hotel has really friendly staff and they take their time to explain things if youneed, I also noticed they are super inclusive in hiring as we noticed several disabled people working at the hotel so hats offmoody gardens!!!! I had requested a room close to the elevator as my son is disabled and they took care of that too which madegoing about so much easier for us. We will definitely be coming back!!!! Read more

We stayed one night before a cruise. It was a large property with a lot of options on site for food and drinks. We did not go to... any of the attractions, this was simply used as a hotel. The staff were great especially the waitress at the bar. There were 3behind the bar and her for the whole lobby area it seemed. She earned her large tip for sure. Our room was nice but showing alittle wear in some areas like the hinges on the bathroom door. Clean though and very comfortable. Read more

We?ve stayed in a lot of nice hotels and by far this has been one of the worst ones. For $250 a night I was expecting something... a lot better than the basic hotel it was. We decided to book here for my birthday weekend after reading so many reviews and it?snothing like all the good reviews on here. It?s outdated the sheets were dirty and ripped the room had a noise coming from theac vent from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The pool wasn?t all that great either. The only nice thing is the bar bythe pool. No microwave the fridge didn?t cool at all ended up spoiling our children's milk. The beds are a bit old make a lot ofnoise and quite uncomfortable. The sink kept getting clogged up when brushing our teeth. The room service is way over priced forthe basic flavorless food. Even the outdoor activities for the children weren?t great. You?re better off staying somewhere else.I stayed at the San Luis resort for the same price and loved it. You?re also paying $5 for a soda at the vending machine and $5for bottled water in the room. Lol definitely won?t be returning the only thing we really enjoyed was the aquarium because ourkids love animals. Read more

The hotel is a bit old and not updated. The rooms were clean but dated. However the staff is super friendly and we enjoyed our... stay. We had a family package with a junior suite the room was spacious and functional for our family. We had a view of thepyramids and the pool. Blossoms makes pizzas from scratch and has bluebell ice cream, I would recommend this place to eat. Thestaff is this restaurant was not the best but food was still good. Overall good trip, not sure we will be back, kids had a goodtime. Read more

I have stayed at Moody Gardens many times with and without kids, its a nice place to unwind and relax with fun stuff to do all... around. I like that you can park your car and forget it and stay on the "compound" with transportation to get you and yourfamily around to all the fun things to do. On the last trip we were welcomed and I use the term loosely by a disgruntled Valet(the first person you see to start your vacation/getaway) he was very rude even insulting my son later in the day when we hadforgotten something and needed an escort to our car. The following morning I was greeted by much happier people wishing us agood morning and being very helpful. After telling them of our experience they told a manager and they were supposed to cometalk to us but I never did hear from them but anyway all in all it was a great stay and the many things to enjoy there made itworth it. The beds do need an upgrade on a final note. Read more
