I?ve been to seawall coffee quite a few times and have never ordered anything that I didn?t love. It?s a bit out of our normal... everyday route but a nice treat when we come to the west end. I like this town so much that I have decided to stay through November.\n\nI have a... background in clinical psychology and stress management - and see a way I could contribute to this town and its visitors byoffering classes for people around learning to use the water for stress management, balance issues, and inner peace.\n\nI havebeen traveling for two years and attempting to run my business with an iPhone. Recently, a Best Buy Geek Squad tech supportperson taught me that I needed to be using a laptop in order to really maximize my business.\n\nI purchased a Chromebook fromBest Buy and have needed a coffee shop with Wi-Fi to develop my Google marketing materials.\n\nThe Seawall Coffee Company is anextraordinarily pleasant environment for sitting with my laptop and my service dog Magic. It is a very beautiful room with a lotof light. The Wi-Fi seems to work very well and I have had no trouble using it.\n\nAll the staff I have dealt with have beenvery pleasant and helpful and kind to my dog.\n\nI want to specifically appreciate Paula, one of the two owners. Also veryhelpful have been baristas Shelby, Cara, Andrea and Pray.\n\nThe location of this coffee shop is way at the west end of downtownGalveston. When the town is very busy ? as it has been on the weekends in May ? this end of town is a great escape from all theintensity.\n\nDirectly across the street from Seawall Coffee Company is the Diamond Beach condominiums. There is good publicparking behind that building - up on a rampart overlooking a spot along the Galveston Bay where waves crash against the rocks ina way that reminds me of Big Sur.\n\nAt the west end of the parking lot, you can walk right down to a long stretch of beachwhich tends to be much less busy than the downtown beaches.\n\nI highly encourage you to include in your visit to Galveston oneor more visits to this coffee shop, complemented by a walk on the beautiful beaches across the street. I was pleasantly surprised when visiting the Seawall Coffee Company! It serves the most delicious coffee I have ever had! They... offer so many delicious coffee types and flavors, hot and cold, that it is always so hard to choose! The food is delicious andthe beautiful bakery counter showcases the most decadent cakes and treats! It has such a bright, open, and relaxing atmosphere,with a full wall of windows facing the ocean, real tropical plants throughout the large open area, very tall ceilings,comfortable spacious seating, and the most beautiful large painted tropical accent flower on one of the walls. When I askedabout the flower, they said it was painted by a local female artist. They said everything is supplied by local women ownedbusinesses in Galveston: the roasted coffee beans, the delectable bakery items, all the other savory breakfast and lunch items,and the gift shop items. They also shared that the owners recently lost a son in battle and he always wore tropical shirts, sothe tropical theme is very near and dear to their hearts.
