The food had no taste, I had to add stuff to it to give it flavor. The fried rice was white rice with veggies, the Chow Mein... tasted bland , the kung pao chicken was okay needed more pao, the Szechwan Beef was good but it wasn't mild. Portions werevery small for the price. I really don't understand how it has a 4.5 stars. Read more
Going to Ta Chen was one of the most genuine and welcoming restaurants I have ever been to. We ordered take out on Christmas... Eve. When I got there my food wasn't ready, so the owner (David) gave me some soup, water, and a cookie while I waited. Hetalked to me about being in business for 37 years and how the community of Garden Grove was wonderful. Both the customers beforeand after me knew David. And by the way, the food was good! Pork chow mein, Where's the pork? Where's anything but noodles? Wontons? Looks like something burned. What is it? 3 flavor... ingredients. Specifically said no bamboo no bean sprouts. Had bamboo and so dried out. Was always my go to food and restaurant. Bye lost my business Read more
