Great service, but hardly any customers on the weekend. Food was okay. Grilled chicken was super dry, hush puppies weren't good,... fried shrimp tasted funny. We were given ranch dressing instead of tartar sauce. Overall, mediocre food at best.for a.cajunseafood restaurant. Read more

First time going to Daddy's Catch Oyster Bar. Went for lunch and ordered the fried car fish lunch. The food was very good, fresh... fish served very quick and hot. Just as good as the food was the service. Normally you order at the counter then sit and yourfood is brought to you. Being our first time the server suggested we have a seat and look over the menu before deciding. After afew minutes the server came and answered questions we had about the menu then made a recommendations for us. Then our order wastaken and within 10 minutes our food was served. Excellent, to say the least! A very well kept secret that deserves to be known. Great and friendly service. Very clean and well... kept. Comfortable atmosphere with great decorations. Food is to die for. Fresh. Abundant. Perfectly cooked and served. Best ofall, inexpensive compared to other seafood places. Shrimp cocktail is superb; snowcrab legs are perfectly cooked; fish andshrimp tacos are big and flavorful; and, they live up to their name - oysters are amazingly big and fresh. Was in the mood for oysters. Hit the spot! Thought we were just going to have one serving but ended up having two of this... scrumptious seafood item. I had been driving by this place everyday for sometime now and decided to try it out. Glad we did! Nice place reminds me of my ?old Florida? days. Had a couple of margaritas, nice and strong. Just moved to Richardson area and my cousin and I were looking for a good seafood joint. The food was great and the service was... phenomenal! This place seem to be family owned.. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. My cousin and I come from a knittight family and we agreed that it made us feel like we were at home because of the staff. We will see you guys again soon.
