I went to the Beach Cafe after visiting the West Beach Dunes. It was a wonderful little breakfast spot, I highly recommend the... Beach Cafe Omelette and potato cakes. I did visit during the off season but the restaurant was quiet and seated us quickly. Our server Sara was fantastic. I definitely recommend visiting if you're looking for local dining options. I have 2 stars only because the lobster bisque was good. Mozzarella sticks came out cold & my seafood platter was not good. The... waitress even told me they don't make their crab cakes here. They must get them from the frozen section at Sam's club. Thebreaded shrimp was soggy & the scallops were very fishy! Very disappointed that I spent $32 on something I didn't like or eveneat! As soon as we rolled in from Midway on our way to our vacation beach house rental, we stopped in for some dinner. This was my... third time here (since last year) and I couldn't wait to get some more of those alligator bites and a beer (Yingling this time).And again, they were just as good as before ???????????? I also ordered a fish sandwich and was spot on!! It's such a cool,chill place to get a bite and a beer that hits the spot perfectly.
