This was our first time at Pappy's Smokehouse. Quaint atmosphere and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The food was... great! We tried the ribs and brisket. The sides are homemade and they have desserts to choose from. I guess I'd call Pappy's afamily ???? friendly restaurant. They deliver and there's a drive-thru. Worth checking out this place. all the meats were very dry and i could tell they have been sitting out or reused from the previous day. the sides were... phenomenal, i recommend the friend pickles. very good. our waitress Wes was extremely kind and properly attentive. greatservice, not the best food. a bit overpriced for the quality we received. also they have a cat that chills outside. not apeople person, i?ve learned. also noticed it may not be the ideal spot for a POC or a queer person. Decided to stop here on a whim and boy am I glad I did. Brisket, pork, and chicken were all great. Brisket was tender and juicy... with great flavor. The mac and cheese was some of the best that I've had in a long time and the sauce suck to the noodles andtasted great. The peanut butter pie was also a great end to the meal. Service was quick and friendly. It'll definitely be on mylist of regular stops when I'm in the area. Also, the prices are surprisingly low for the quality and portions you get. Almostforgot to mention that both sauces that they have are great. The spicy with a nice heat but not too spicy and the sweet with theright amount of sweetness.
