Staff are great. The food is good but can use some work. The japchae was a little too salty. Tangsuyuk is sweet and sour, not... for my taste bud. The spicy rice cake was probably the best dish I had here. I like how they added the clear noodle with thisdish. Be warn, the spicy has a good kick to it. Read more

This place was great. The food was delicious and not too expensive. I had the dolsot bibimbob which is served in a hot pot... instead of a regular plate. You have to keep stirring it, you don't want the rice to get burnt. It was delicious and just theright amount. My wife ordered the spicy shrimp and it was also delicious but the heat will sneak up on you. We also had thisroll that was delicious but I can't remember the ne. Definitely a place to visit if you are in the Gastonia NC area and if youcrave Korean food. They also had sushi but we didn't get any. Read more

My husband and I ate here one night and fell in love with the food. It was AMAZING!! We then went back the following week and... took our kids who loved it also. The Korean spicy chicken is my go to dish, it is so good. The sushi, esp the jj roll great. You can't go wrong with anything here. We have made this an almost weekly stop. Our waitress Q, the best!! Can't wait to goback Read more

As someone who grew up with a Korean grandmother, I was spoiled with outstanding Korean dishes such as Bulgogi and Bibimbop.... Booja successfully returns a piece of my childhood back with every bite you take. As early as pulling into the parking lot, youget a sense that you've arrived somewhere special. Upon walking inside, you're immediately struck by how clean and detailoriented Booja is. The kitchen is in plain view of the dining area, so you get to watch the head chef prepare sushi as you dine!Exemplary staff, outstanding food, and very well priced. Overall, it's a flawless dining experience. Read more

Booja is a culinary experience that makes you feel like you’re not in Gastonia. We had the steamed pork dumplings as an app... for $5, shared a plate of bulgogi (sweet beef) for $17 with 8 little side dishes that you can have refilled for no extra cost, and enjoyed a small cold sake for $5 and strawberry boba tea for $5. With tip we had a nice meal for about $40. The staff hereis so nice and the atmosphere is so calming. All the food is super fresh. Plenty of parking and seating. We’ll absolutely goback. This is a gem! Read more
