My husband and I stopped at this restaurant very hungry after a hike, and had a wonderful meal! My husband ordered the all meat... calzone, which was beautifully cooked. I had the spinach ravioli which was also delicious, as was the fresh, generously sizedGreek salad. To top it off, our server Ethan did an awesome job taking care of us! Wanted to try take out at a new restaurant in Gastonia and this was a good choice. We ordered fried mushrooms, bruschetta, and... the venecia special (lg with onions on half). The bruschetta ingredients were fresh but the bread wasn?t cut all the way throughand everything was bunched up in the middle. The pizza was better than expected. I?d definitely get it again. Only gave a one star because I had to, to post this review. This is a seat yourself restaurant. Waited over 20 minutes with no... service, not even a menu. After staff walked by us several times. This would have been our first time eating at this restaurantafter it came highly recommended. Will not try again! Read more

My neighbor had given me a gift certificate for $25 back in 2019 for Christmas. We've always wanted to try this restaurant she... said that it was really good. But the pandemic messed us up in getting there . We were definitely planning on spending more than$25 and I always tip what the bill is worth even before the discount was taken off. I went in and showed them the certificateand they told me it was only good for a year and it was no longer valid. Nowhere on the certificate does it say it expires. Wewalked out we did not eat there I was not a happy camper. I don't think it's right that my neighbor spent her money on a giftcertificate and now it's invalid. So I'm only giving this restaurant one star because I think they really could haveaccommodated us a little better than that. Read more
