I bought the Royal cake 2 weeks ago and ended up in the freezer (personal reason). We had it last Friday and the cake was... delicious..better than I imagined ????. It was light & not too sweet! Great bakery and cafe- wished we had something similar like this in the GTA! Staff are very friendly and helpful even during the... busiest of times. Had a most delicious carrot soup and croque monsieur at lunch, and we are trying many of the bakery items overthe next few days that we?re here. I?ve always wanted to come to this bakery and I am so glad that I did! It was hard choosing what I wanted because they had a lot... of options and everything looked so good. It took a lot of self control and eventually I was able to choose 4 things from themenu. Everything I ordered was super tasty and had just the right level of sweetness. The interior of the bakery was also veryclean and modern which I also liked. I can?t wait to come back here next time I?m in Gatineau. Read more

This review is not about the wonderful bread and pastries (even though I find the quality of chocolate croissants has decreased... - less butter maybe and lower quality chocolate) they make or the very friendly and professional staff. I bought peach maple jamwhich I love and buy regularly but the batch I received was peach ginger (labelled peach maple). I sent an email to customerservice but they never bothered replying. I through away the jam. Mistakes like that shouldn?t happen in the food industry, whatif I had an allergy? A reply would have been nice. Read more
