Cute little restaurant in the heart of Aylmer, Quebec close to the marina. Service was amicale, food was delicious, and portions... were awesome. Ambiance of the place was also great - love their outdoor seating area. Will 100% be going back! Read more
Poutine is excellent, fish and chips is decent - but they charged extra for extra ketchup for our son. Amount was insignificant,... but it was a surprisingly penny pinching policy for a restaurant of its kind. Read more
I'm not normally one to write negative reviews but I believe in this case, it is necessary. My husband and I live close by and... decided to try L'Aubergiste after hearing a number of positive reviews. The food was mediocre but the wait staff were absolutelyawful. Not only were we "scolded" for moving tables (after given permission) but the wait staff basically avoided our table fora majority of the evening and we were left searching for our waitress in order to pay our bill at the end of the night. When wefound our waitress, she was busy playing on her phone, didn't acknowledge us, and the hostess was left "ringing us through".Shortly after we paid the bill and were headed out the door our waitress yells at us across the restaurant "THANKS FOR COMINGIN!"... Needless to say, we won't be wasting our hard earned money here ever again. Read more

The menu still has their signature dishes. Same great atmosphere. Aperfect stop on your way out to see the sunset at the Aylmer Marina. Update: December 9, 2022 Veronique is a wonderfulowner/host!
