This place is so beautiful. I liked the upstairs vibe and bar downstairs. The poutine was amazing. Had the beacon one

Very nice decor and atmosphere. Meat was well cooked and tender. Poutine gravy was a bit on the salty side. Definitely coming... here again. Read more

My girlfriend and I went to the BBQ Shop a few weeks ago and we had a bit of a different experience. We had deep fried pickles... and the brisket cheese balls as starters which were both good. The brisket balls were particularly interesting and tasty and weactually never had this before. For mains, my girlfriend had the pulled pork with grilled vegetables which she really liked(and so did I, I tasted it! ????) and I had the chicken wings with a poutine as a side. Now while the poutine was ok, the wingswere a bit overcooked and were not the best in my opinion. Maybe it was just the honey buffalo sauce combination that I justdidn't like that much, anything tasting sweet on wings always rings funny to me. I won't put this on the restaurant as they arecreative in their recipes and dishes, more of a personal taste. Overall we had a good dinner, although I still think prices area little on the higher side. Be careful on the menu as meat dishes are priced without sides, which are extra. My wings were $12+ a poutine at $10 = $22. With drinks and starters we ended up paying about $120 in all. Read more

I am torn on this place. Overall, the ambiance is nice, great location and rooftop, clean, and good service. Food quality/taste... is pretty on point as well. But let's talk about the prices and portions. We paid almost 20 dollars for 4 brisket balls (theywere delicious), we got the onion rings (they were not well seasoned and cut just way too thick) also paid like 15 dollars for asmall portion. Then comes the main meal. We figured we can share between three of us the three dishes. We ordered the ribs, pulled pork and mac and cheese. They bring out a cheese board with probably (tops) a cup of pulled pork, THREE ribs and a dishof mac and cheese. For almost 20 dollars for each dish, we got ZERO sides of any kind, it's just the meat. No veggies, nopotatoes, nothing. That's such poor value for a meal because even though flavors were great, no one wants to eat meat alone.Almost 20 dollars for three ribs is kinda of a joke. I would not go back just because it's not a well rounded meal unless youspend money on extras. And lastly, Coke shouldn't be transparent. Check the setting on your machines because I got water with afew drops of coke in it. Read more

All meats were delicious but my top 3 were the brisket, pork ribs and pulled pork. Burger was average. Mac n cheese was... splendid. Service is kind. The place is small so make sure to reserve. Read more
