My girlfriends and I went on a trip for 2 nights to this hotel and had a horrible experience. Most of the staff was very nice... except this one woman (Joan, I think). At check-in, we were told that if we get stranded (because there are very few Ubers inGeneva), the hotel will come pick us up. One guy even offered to drive us. The next day, we got stranded at a winery and calledthe hotel. Joan picked up and was very rude and said that the hotel doesn?t promise that. When we said the hotel said that tous, she responded with multiple stories about herself and how she won?t pick us up or help us out. We then said ok we willfigure it out but she wouldn?t let us off the phone and kept going on and on about how we were wrong and started gaslighting us.Said we made her uncomfortable even though we just asked for a service they promised us. The next day, we are checking out andwe meet her again. She doesn?t even come to us to check us out and sits two tables back. Didn?t even let us come to her so wehad to shout across the room. She said our balance was $1400 and we asked what that accounts for since that doesn?t seem right. She then became condescending and couldn?t explain where the amount came from. She said we had paid a deposit for one night andthis is the balance for two nights. We explained that we were only there for two nights so we should only be charged for onenight. After 20 mins of back and forth and her condescendingly explaining taxes to us, she prints out the detailed receipt. Init she says, your total is 1600 and you paid 600 as a deposit, so your balance now is 500. We told her that?s wrong, it?s basicmath, our balance is 1000. She said that?s what she has been saying for the past 30 mins. All of my friends and I told her noyou said 1400 which is why we asked for a receipt but it?s fine just charge us the actual amount. She then said ?you are wrong,I said it correctly?. We let it go and then there was silence so I asked if we are checked Read more

Pretty place. Not your cookie cutter hotel. Lovely view of the lake. Comfy bed, clean, great linens and towels, friendly staff.... Landscaping needs updating and tidied. A lot of old sparse bushes. A bit pricey for what they offer. Had a suite with a kitchenand id like to suggest they leave more creamers in the fridge and not just a couple little creamer pods by the Keurig machine. Price was the only reason its not a five star. Read more

It?s like staying in your dead grandmother?s apartment. The place needs major updating. The views are lovely but lacks modern... conveniences such as night tables on both sides of the bed. The price is high and it?s NOT worth even half the price. Thecelebrity photos include Kirstie Alley with Parker Stevens?that alone says it all. There?s many other places to stay in theregion. Pick one of them. Read more

Utterly disappointed in the restaurant! Not really sure what happened to this place. We loved coming here, food was great,... service was excellent, and the views of Seneca lake- stunning. They just unveiled a new menu, that was so disappointing, foodwas terrible, no real options just pizza, salad that tasted like I came from a bag, and service that was high schoolers, theviews of the lake were the only thing that was the same. Take this how it is intended, make a better menu, increase yourquality, and train your staff. Read more

I visited this party house for a wedding and reception which was catered by two different caterers. The wedding ceremony was... beautiful thanks to the breathtaking backdrop of a small pond and heavily wooded land. The building was spacious and had a nice, open feel with multiple entrance doors kept open to keep it cool within for a July day. Overall, as a guest to a wedding, Ireally enjoyed this venue.
