Insanely good local bbq. Having lived 25yrs down south in bbq country, this place measures up. Portions are gigantic and the... flavors are gigantic. Go. Just go, you will not be disappointed. They don?t take reservations unless you have 5+ people. On a good day if you want to sit outside you should add your name to the... list an hour before your target meal time. As good as it gets... Service and staff were awesome, the food was incredible and the restaurant has that funky restaurant alley... location along with some other top local eateries. My guess is this place will outlast them all. A great menu that can make it atough decision what to order... Oh well looks like I'll have to come back a few more times ????????. Read more
This place was packed instantly. I think they must have some amazing things on the menu but what we had was good but not... amazing. We found the brisket to be dry from whatever was done to add the extra layer of char and the short rib to have bitsthat were pretty dry too. Maybe the slaw is lost on us as we aren't super into the flavor of bourbon. I think regular slaw withmayo would have made us happier but it wasn't bad. The texas caviar and corn bread were also not bad. The baked beans were theclear favorite of the day and very tasty. The staff was quick but slightly short and everything in a hurry. Read more
