Lot of ups and downs. The pie was the best part of the meal and the only thing that really seemed to be cooked fresh. The roast... beef meal tasted like cafeteria food. The potatoes had huge, hard lumps like they were just smooshed with a fork and the gravytasted canned. The bologna sandwich came with no sauce and no cheese. The fries were good though. Gonna be hard to beat this establishment. I would give them 6 stars but I?m limited. I came here for lunch as well and it was... great. So this time I came for breakfast and wow did they show up to the food party strong? Everything was fresh. Farm-fresh ifI might add. I got pancakes, sausage, and eggs. It came to me hot and fast with tastes so great that my tastebuds were dancingafter the first bite. If you are in town I definitely recommend this fine eatery . Fava?s has a really nice hometown feel. A lot of, ?how ya doin honey???s and ?thank you doll?s being thrown around. I was... greeted and sat as I may to be greeted and welcomed nicely. I ordered the Catfish Po? Boy with fries. Many patrons were treatedas family as I awaited my food. The catfish was crispy, flaky white and delicious. The hoagie was toasted and decorated wellwith tomato and lettuce. The sandwich was good and the fries were fresh, not well seasoned or salted but the condiment trayoffered that relief. I do not recommend this place to anybody, food is really over priced and quality wasn't anything special. Table was nasty when... we got there had to clean it. Waitress was nice, but took grand kids and was charged $7 for a child's grilled cheese, there was2 adults 2 children and we spent $50 and we all had basic sandwiches and fries. Could have got much better food for that priceelsewhere. I will never be back and suggest you don't even waste your time. This is a true review because we just moved here sodon't have to worry about upsetting a friend.. Read more
