Was in town for a tennis tournament and heard this was a great place to eat. Cool little place, but I emphasize *little.* Still,... it was pleasant and didn't feel too crowded. I saw only one bathroom and you had to go back where the staff are to use it. Not ahuge deal I guess. Our waitress was not friendly at all and didn't check on us very often. Almost seemed to have an attitude forwhatever reason. Our food took about 40 minutes to come out, and we didn't order a lot. It was somewhat busy but it shouldn'thave taken that long. The food, once it came was excellent and high quality. The BBQ chickens strips were tasty and theBuffadilla was quite a new and tasty experience. This place has a ton of good reviews and I wish I could have given it a betterrating. Based on the food alone, I guess I would have to recommend it still. Read more

For takeout, mediocre at best. Flavor profile and texture profile are not cohesive once placed in the Styrofoam boxes and left... to sit for a few minutes. I ordered the Garlic green beans, they were delicious, but the two entrées I tried, the macnarello(glorified Mac n cheese with scraps of chicken and a few broccoli florets) and the chicken chorizo tacos had little to noflavor. The cheese sauce would not stick to the macaroni and the soft corn tortillas for the tacos had fallen apart BEFORE Iwent to pick one up. I imagine if you dine in, it would be much better. This place is not for the travel who is on the go. Read more

Worth the hype, for sure. We went right when they opened on a Friday, expecting it to fill quickly, but it must have been a... slower day. We wouldn?t have had to wait at all, even by 11:45am, when we left. Going to try to hit it again for lunch on ourway home. The tacos and empanadas were great, but for us.. the beans and rice were also a huge #1. We took the leftovers anddevoured them later that night. So good. Read more

The website for The Coop says, "We're a Chicken Joint." That is true, they feature rotisserie chicken. But they also have a... number of dishes made with the chicken, including Costa Rican influenced dishes. We had the chicken tacos and empanadas. Bothseemed very authentic and were delicious. They were very busy at lunch time and seating is limited. If you can, I wouldrecommend getting there before 11:30am or after 12:30pm. We arrived at about 11:45am for lunch, and had about 15 minutes towait for a table. Waitresses are very friendly. Red or green salsa is available. Our waitress recommended red for theempanadas. My GF had green with her tacos. I tried both with the empanadas, and she was absolutely correct that red was thebest choice. They also have tasty little cornbread cupcakes that they bring to the table while you are waiting for yourentrée. Read more
