Dined at Tasty Baghdad for the first time and I cannot wait to come back! I ordered takeout and both my partner and I were... raving about it at home. I got the small appetizer platter which comes with three apps of your choice so I got the Hummus,Falafel, and Baba Ghanouj. For entree I got the Fried Fish Platter which comes with rice and choice of soup so I picked theLentil Soup. For dessert I got a slice of fresh made Baklava. Each course was just amazing, and everything came out hot andfresh! I was especially impressed with the flavors of each item. I didn't expect the fish to be a whole one and the skin andflesh were both seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was the creamiest hummus I've had to date. The falafel and baklava are madethe way they're supposed to. Every single item was delicious in itself. On top of all that the service was fast and the serverand host who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu to make suggestions of what to get. I would definitelyrecommend a visit even if its out of your way, and I will most certainly be back! Read more
Visiting from out of town, and now I want to come back just for this restaurant! The food was so incredible I almost cried! We... had hummus, grape leaves, and eggplant salad for appetizers. I have never had better hummus in my life - wow! I had the Quzi fora main course, while my husband had the mixed grill. Excellent food, presentation, and large portions. Today was the first time that I have had Iraqi food since 2008. Everything was so delicious and the same as I had in Iraq. ... Eating the mixed platter, okra soup, gyro and falafel was like comfort food to me. It put me in a place of joy, relaxation andpure bliss. Of course you have to capture it with delicious chai tea.....which relaxes you even more. Tasty Bagdad, did notdisappoint!
