We ordered from Champs Pizza for the first time and it wasn't great. We ordered Buffalo Chicken Pizza, tater tots and crab... pretzel. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is soooo salty that it burned my lips. I couldn't eat more than one slice, its like someonedumped salt all over it. The crab pretzel wasn't good. The pretzel was hard. This place used to be great. We discovered it on grubhub, and it has something for everyone....until it doesn't. Every single... time we have placed an order for the last 6 months (we place an order at least once a month) they have called me because they'reout of 1 or more items we ordered (usually appetizers or kids' items) which we have been flexible with even though they neveradjust the prices. We never complained because we are a large family and usually place large orders around or above $100, and weused to value the restaurant. But today....after ordering from this place for well over a year, we placed an order and got acall that they don't deliver to us and when we explained where we live and that it has never been a problem before, we weretold simply "well we aren't willing to come to you" and that was that. He wasn't even nice or remotely apologetic, notsympathetic, nothing you'd expect from a service establishment that was effectively refusing to serve you suddenly for noreason. As someone who works in customer service, I am appalled and while we have advised neighbors, friends and colleagues totry this place (my wife even ordered this for her staff meetings which BTW, are farther from the restaurant than our house andagain, there was never a problem with delivery) rest assured we will let everyone know about how this sorry excuse for anestablishment has gone downhill so quickly. The pizza was great as was the customer service. What concerned me was how dirty the garlic sauce container was like it was... sitting for ages with trash and bugs stuck to it. We were enjoying the pizza until we noticed it and it wasn?t appealing anymorewhich is a shame since we enjoyed the taste of the pizza it?s self. Read more
Ordered a"Brick Fire" pizza, this isn't "Brick Fire" and the dough wasn't even cooked thoroughly. Never again will we order... anything from this place. Don't recommend at all. Although a response was received, however, considering the [non-existent]customer service - we weren't even greeted or simply asked "How can we help you?" Instead, 3 reps at the counter werediscussing how to haul a huge pizza, the phone eventually rang right in front of us - after almost 2mins of us waiting forsomeone to at least to help us. One of the reps answered the phone & never once acknowledged us. I had to be the one to ask "Ifis this where we pick up pizza?" and then one said "Ah, yes, what's your name?"
