I typically don?t write reviews but This location is no longer consistent. This is our third negative experience in a row. ... Food has been very poor. One night We get Pei Wei Original chicken and it has no sauce and the next time it is so spicy it?snot edible. Portions are never the same either. The pick up time given is never accurate. We arrived 10 minutes later thattold, only to wait an additional 20 mins to get our food. As were the other ten people waiting to pick up. What happened to Pei Wei?? I haven't been to this restaurant in probably 6 or 7 years, but I remember how great it used to be. I... used to eat here a lot and was just driving by and saw this location. The inside of the restaurant was in terrible condition.Badly in need of an upgrade esp with the tables, chairs, floors. The food was good, but there was probably 8 small pieces ofchicken over a huge bed of rice! I'm also disappointed they don't have the spring rolls anymore wrapped in the rice paper. I love my girl...truly do, but tonight...not so much. Bless her heart she surprised me with this place and what a surprise it... was. After trying a couple of things from here I decided this place SUCKS! SORRY...I TELL IT LIKE IT IS. How is this place stillin business? The food was awful. I'm being honest and will not sugar coat anything. The worse part is it cost over $50.00. I'dask for a refund, but this review is worth the loss. There really is no excuse for food this bad. We ordered the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken, substituting shrimp for the chicken. (Note- There are two similar dishes by name.... There is also a Thai Basil Cashew Chicken. Its very easy to confuse the two.). My companion found the dish to be way too spicey. The wonton soup wasn't quite as good as other soups my dining companion has enjoyed. He did not enjoy these selections verymuch. However, the pork egg rolls were nice. The gluten free fried rice was very good. There were plenty of nice white meatchicken pieces and a sweet ginger sauce. All in all, we enjoyed our meal, which was reasonably priced but next time we may passon the too spiceyThai dish. Ordered and sat. Food was fine. They are still serving on plastic takeout dishes since Covid and haven?t moved back to plates.... Cheapens the experience for sure. Tables were filthy. We wiped out own tables. Napkins dispenser was empty. I pointed it out tothe worker and they didn?t fix it. An hour later when we walked out there were still no napkins. Have always loved this chainbut will avoid this particular restaurant. They seem very busy with take outs and deliveries but not taking good care of theirin house patrons. Read more
