3 piece fried chicken - 5 ????! Side of pineapple slaw - 5 ????! Side of mac and cheese- 5 ????! Dinah's Chicken is an old... school place near the southern end of Glendale. They have a fun slogan on their menu stating that if their founder had been inthe navy they would have been an admiral. The chicken was fantastic. I am a big believer in as fresh from the kitchen as I canget it and this absolutely applies to Dinah's. The chicken was some of the freshest fried chicken I've ever had and it reallyhelps elevate the dining experience. The pineapple slaw was tasty and had a nice but subtle sweet flavor. The mac and cheesewas good. I saw many diners order the waffles and I think I might have missed out. A return trip to try the chicken and waffleseems very likely. Had such a great time at this location. The service was great, fried chicken totally fresh, moist and very good. Pineapple... coleslaw definitely a must have for sure.
