Our friends told us about this place a while ago and totally recommended it. We tried it and I have to say that everything we... ate was really good. The ceaser salad was good but did expect the sauce to be thicker. The lasagna was very tasty and love theway they serve it. The bread, what great taste that was. That bread was very soft and amazing, but please serve with biggerportion of butter. The mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection. I just wish the ranch was more homemade for the great tasteit has to work with. Thank you and will come back again. Read more

We went for lunch and my son ordered the chicken parmesean, my daughter ordered the 2-slice pizza with pepperoni deal, and my... mom and I ordered the 2-slice pizza with hamburger deal. It came with a salad and a roll. The salad was my least favoritebecause the lettuce was kind of wet. The rolls were hot and fresh, but some honey butter instead of the regular kind would havereally set them off. The pizza cheese was so cheesy. I felt like I was back in New York again. The crust tasted so fresh, likethey had just rolled it out. The waiter checked on us often and made small talk with us. He was very nice and accommodating. Iam glad we made the decision to stop here! This was my second time visiting Moni's. First time I ordered pizza which I thought was edible but mediocre. This time I... decided to try pasta instead. Ordered the seafood fettuccine which came with shrimp, scallops, and crab. Not a scallops fan so Iasked to sub chicken for the scallops. In my mind the restaurant is winning. Chicken is cheaper than scallops although I likelybe charged the same menu price which was $18.95. Placed my order over the phone and arrived at the restaurant for pick up. Thebill total was nearly $25. I handed my credit card before processing what he said. While waiting for my order I questioned theserver as to why the bill was so expensive. He explained that they charge to change ingredients. Then the young lady who took myorder passes by and says "yeah when you sub chicken we still have to charge you bc we cut a whole chicken breast. So it's notreally a substitution." Then server even doubles back to try to convince me that costs have gone up everywhere. And he justspent $80 at Applebee's. Whatever....I take my food and head home. Now I totally understand prices going up and just acceptthe situation for what it is. But when I get home and open the pasta there is IMITATION CRAB (plenty of it), 4 shrimp, and maybe1/3 of a chicken breast. How am I paying $25 for IMITATION CRAB??!! If your saying costs are going up then at least give mequality product. Then 4 shrimp!! What seafood? I will not patronize this business again. Read more

Moni's, what happened? This used to be our monthly spot for delicious, authentic Italian food but unfortunately the last 2 times... have been horrible. I get the same thing every time, Stromboli, the middle was literally raw, not baked enough. This has neverhappened. Tonight we gave it another shot & it was a disaster. 1st, no bread, chef refused to bake any, tea tagged like dirt, myMIL's order was completely wrong even though the waitress wrote it down correct, I heard David even have to read it out to thechef, like he didn't believe it was on the ticket as such. So her food came out while the rest of our party was finishing upours, she didn't get to eat it with her family & had it boxed up to go. If this keeps up we're going to have to find anotherspot. The table next to us were complaining as well. We've been coming here for years & never had this kind of service, EVER!!WHAT HAPPENED TO Y'ALL?!!! Read more
