A must-visit for any out-of-towners. I got their Hackney Burger with cheddar on dark rye, and it was amazing! On a nice breezy... day, the patio is the perfect place to enjoy a nice meal. Their onion rings are a definitely not something to miss out on! Read more

Been going here my whole life (one of the few places still around— and that’s saying something—I’m 71 ????). But... hadn’t been for probably 30 years. But when I went last week I found d it never better— the burger on black bread, thefries, and best of all—the amazing non-greasy onion rings..!! Cole slaw nearly as good as Carson’s..!! Service alsogreat..!! What a great dinner Read more

What is this place. 1) the food here is terrible I’ve never seen a burger cooked worse than the burger I spend $19.45 on.... Honestly I’ve had better food at McDonald’s for half the price of this place. Everyone at my table had their order messed upand we were missing fries for half of our order. Also don’t bother with the Gluten Free options. 2) this place is a dump. Thefirst 10 seconds of walking it suggest that there might be hope for you but the second you round the corner you soon realizeyour mistake. There is a “arcade” which is pitiful. The ceiling of the restaurant has mold and holes absolutely disgusting. The ground is missing floor boards and the decor hasn’t been updated since the 60s. The bathroom doesn’t have a divider andhasn’t been cleaned since COVID. All this dump is a trap for old people to bring there kids or grand kids and to pass on theburden of eating here please stay far far away. Read more

Not a good experience. Do not recommend. Place is a bit run down, booth seat was lumpy & hard. Poor A/C so it was quite warm.... Ordered the Hackney burger & fries. Burger had no sear or color from the fry and overall tasteless. Ordered med well, receiveda rare burger. Tried to eat it, had to send it back. Came back with same burger, now super well done (still no sear…did theynuke it??). Fries were nothing special, Mc D’s are better. Service was quite poor. Not once did waiter check on us, no offerfor water or pop refills. Save your money, try a different place. Read more
