Stopped in to get a wee bite and a pint (or two) of a good New England IPA after an event at the Hammond Castle. This was our... second attempt at traveling to this area as first try was unsuccessful due to it being a warm weekend Holiday and traffic wasbumper to bumper. This attempt was after dark and successful. We enjoyed The Calamari (which could have used a bit of salt), achicken sandwich with fries and a couple of beers. Atmosphere was great, a bit like being in a sea man?s hangout where Quintfrom Jaws might hang, with an upside down boat hanging over the bar! Service and food were great. Almost had a heart attack when the bill came. Can?t go to this restaurant unless you?re wealthy. Way too overpriced. Shame on... the owners. Regular folks have been priced out in their own neighborhood. Read more
Early saturday evening, first time here since it changed up. Sat outside on deck ordered appetizer tuna tartar and some mango... sushi, was good. Dinner was baked haddock and I ordered the salmon dinner with rice. Just mediocre. Shout out to staff though asthey were short handed and kept things rolling in spite of that. Read more
