The food here is OK. My riblets were good but my daughter's chicken pasta with broccoli was not. The chicken was burnt and the... pasta was overcooked. The worse part is we waited over an hour after we ordered to get our dinner. The server was fine althoughwe didn't see her much probably because she was embarrassed the food was taking so long. I observed several other diners waitinga long time for their orders too but also others with the same number in their party that came in after us, get their orders,eat and leave. This is the second time in a row, although a different Applebee's, where the service was extremely lacking. Wewon't be returning to Applebee's because of the poor service. Stopped because I needed some dinner on the way home. Thought twice before ordering the ribeye dinner. When it was served I was... very pleased. I ordered it med rare and it was spot on. Oh boy where to start: 1. The wait for food for a half empty restaurant was entirely too long 2. I had the same drink the entire... time because the server never gave us a refill 3. Only time we saw the server was to take our order, bring us our food and bringus our check 4. We get the bill and good lord?we were up charged for a kids drink when the kids drink is supposed to come withthe kids meal. I didn?t feel like waiting another 10 minutes for our server so I paid and left. Don?t even get me started on thebathroom. I?ve seen cleaner restrooms at rest stops. Came in with the Family today. Our waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive , kind and efficient. She was available... numerous times for refills and checking everything was ok. We ordered a few kids meals, endless boneless wings , a Buffalochicken salad and a texmex shrimp Bowl. Everything came out in record time, Hot and fresh. All of our meals were exactly asordered and tasted great. I haven't been to an Applebee's in over a decade but tonight's experience has made me rethink myopinion. Read more
