A quaint little breakfast / brunch place plus a coffee shop in Golden. We just decided to stop by as we were driving past it.... And that was a good decision. While travelling we always look for this kind of mom and pop coffee shops and restaurants whichgive you a very local feeling as well as a taste of local cuisine. As you enter you will be greeted with a very crisplydecorated coffee shop, giving you a very homely feeling. The ladies at the counter were equally pleasant to interact with. Thefood was fresh and warm and definitely tasted great. We loved their egg bowls. I had that on both days we went there. The coffeewas warm and freshly brewed. The prices are very reasonable too. Restaurant is cute, but definitely way over priced. Got a sandwich on gluten free bread and it was a quarter the size of their... regular sandwich?s but $2 more. They didn?t have really anything in the case so i ordered off their menu and requested notomato?s and so did the 2 other guests behind me and they seemed very annoyed that my preference is no tomato. Sandwich wasgood, but definitely not $17 worth. Besides them having gluten free bread, I definitely don?t have anything good to say aboutthe cafe. Will not return. Read more
