Really excellent food and fresh made pita. The beef shawarma entrée was delicious and it was a ton of food.

Beef shawarma was tasty, but they only provided 1 pita despite two of us ordering dishes which come with pita. Unfortunately I... was never able to ask for more because our server ignored us and only dropped by to give us the check and pick up the creditcard. When I asked for a box she turned away immediately before I could get another word in to ask if they could also pack anextra pita for the rest of my meal. I was a bit tired of dealing with it by then (she had a chip on her shoulder the whole timewe were there) so we just left. Normally I don't care that much about attentive service, but I do feel for the price of theentree they could have given us at least a little more pita to enjoy the dish with. Our food was very good and the food came out very quickly but our waitress was not friendly. No greeting when we walked in and... didn't acknowledge us at all. We ended up just picking a seat because we weren't sure what to do and then she just dropped ofthe menus and walked away. When she came back all she said was are you ready to order yet. Great food! My wife and I go here once or twice a month. I was shocked on my last visit when I got the bill and we we're charged... 18% gratuity. I understand the charge if we were a table of 6 or more, but it was just me and my wife. It just left a sour tastein my mouth. Read more

I absolutely loved the food at Amir grill! It was very authentic and the flavors were amazing! My only complaint is that I would... have loved to have been able to order a glass of wine with my food, but there is no alcohol served there.
