I'm unsure HOW this place isn't five stars but. I will say, I am very very picky and judgmental when it comes to food that I pay... for. This place meets and exceeds any standard I've ever set going into a food establishment. The customer service was great,the food was amazing, and the prices are affordable. I got the half dozen wings with thr house hot sauce, we also got a kidsmeal Mac and cheese my wife got the pulled pork sandwich which wasn't pictured. Their wings were cooked perfectly, they weren'tloaded with sauce, but it was enough sauce to get some with every bite and was a nice change as I didn't have to use a napkinafter every bite. The Mac and cheese was creamy and loaded with flavor. Everything there I am assuming is home/house madebecause the ranch was unique, as well thr BBQ sauce we got on the side for the sandwich. 10/10 I wish we weren't moving or elsewe'd be here every weekend. This locally owned and operated tavern is a great option for a tasty meal, a quick bite or asnack during game time or a local stop after a nearby hike. Service is typically fast and friendly. Went over to Cast Iron Tavern after a day of White Water Rafting. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The food was... very good and big portion sizes. We went with a group of three and all three of us had to go boxes. My meal did come out wronginitially but they were quick to get it fixed for me. Don?t sleep on Bob?s Italian Beef which I think is a special on Sunday. Bobs Italian Beef sandwich is the best around. You also... get homemade Giardinera which is out of this world.
