Called to see what they had on the buffet, was first told they too many items to explain. Then once we expressed that it is okay... we will come to see was told they were closed. When we explained that we could clearly see that they close at 3:00 and it wasonly 2:30, his explanation was that they were slow and he didn?t want to pay for the five minutes it would have taken us to getthere. I have never eaten bad food here, I might over eat the tomato pie but it's just that good. Customer service is amazing, as soon... as you walk in there you are family. Convenient location, very small, not a lot of space. It is like a school lunchroom style restaurant. Lots of different options... on the buffet, however I felt everything except the banana pudding lacked flavor. Okra was mushy. Mac and cheese was dry. Bbq isvery plain no seasoning and sauces taste very basic. For a family of 4 the price was great and hope I just went on an off day asI did like the food options they had just needed more loving in the kitchen. Read more
Can't beat the price for the amount of food you get. Overall the food was decent. But several things kept from rating higher. ... The dining area cleaning during the day was not keeping up. I could see multiple pieces of food had fallen near and under steamtables; dining tables not cleaned very well; just an overall impression of 'it can wait for the night cleaning crew'. It didmake me wonder what the food prep area looked like. Some of the food was very good, some not so much. Loved the mustard BBQ,but the same couple of chicken thighs were the only ones I saw for the 45 min we were there. I don't mind the styrofoam plates,but the tiny plastic silverware was a turn off. I'd rather pay an extra $1 and eat with real forks and have more cleaning doneduring shifts. Next time I am back in town I would try place again. Read more
