Our experience for our weekend getaway from camping to exploring the lake and to top it off with PK Icehouse was just perfect!... Can?t say enough about how friendly everyone has been and PK Icehouse was no different. Staff was super chill and welcoming, theeats were delicious (loaded wedges)! It was my first time visiting here on a spur of the moment date night dinner. It was not busy at all on a Sunday evening and I... did not expect the food to be as amazing as it was. I ordered the chicken tacos and my boyfriend ordered the PK Icehouse Burger.I tell you my eyes widened so much by how much flavor is in those chicken tacos, it was not dry whatsoever, very juicy,flavorful and well balanced. The burger had the same effect on my boyfriend and we could not stop talking about how good ourfood was. I could not be more happy that we decided to come here and that will not be our last! Today was our first visit. Based on the food and service from Erica, certainly not our last. We shared their Hillary's Loaded... Tots and OMG, we agree that these were the best tots we've ever had! Highly recommend this place! Read more
So this place is very near to the worst customer service we have ever experienced for the two occasions that we went. First... experience was for the Josh Ward concert. They were not prepared for this event at all. This event was $40 a head. We weretold that concert was to start at 8pm and end 11-12pm. The concert started at 915 and was over at 1010. With no house bandbefore or after. They had 2 bar tenders and no beer girls, so it was 40 minute wait for each round of drinks. They had seatingfor less than 25% of customers, and did not suggest for us to bring lawn chairs when we called. It was a total soup sandwich ofa night. We had heard the food was good and thought we could try lunch there the day after concert as there was not an eventgoing on to stress their service capabilities. We found ourselves waiting 15 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink and wewould have to wait to order food. 15 more min wait for the drinks then 45 minutes of waiting for our food before we finally hadno choice but to go elsewhere. A total of 1 hour and 15 minutes and still no sign of our meal is unacceptable. We went rightdown the street and had our amazing food sitting in front of us in less than 25 minutes after walking in the door. Long storyshort if you visit this wonderful area I suggest that you avoid this place of business at all cost. In response to theresponse? The staff did work extremely hard and I applaud them for their endless efforts to keep up with the demands. Each oneof them deserve a huge pat on the back. So thank each of you for working so very!!! (Now the grain of salt). The question iswhere was the failure? Three people calling in should not leave you stressed to the point falling apart. Honestly had a hard time figuring this place out. Cars in lot but no access through locked doors. Someone eventually came out... and told us to walk around the back of building, which was not obvious. In the end we drank beer outside on the lawn.
