Lived in the SFV for 13 years now. I consider myself a foodie, but I have never tried this restaurant, until last weekend. I was... really craving for lobsters. So I advised the Fam that dinner will be at AWSF Restaurant. The experience was great. Aside fromeverything else we ordered, of course I have to go for the house special lobster. 2 orders of 4.5 lbs. of lobster cost about$250. IMHO, it was the bomb. My Fam don't eat that much. We finished 1 4.5lbs order dine in. I finished the rest at home on thenext day. The sauce was the bomb! Gout attack on the 3rd day, but what the heck! YOLO! It was worth it. I WILL BE BACK! We placed the order through DoorDash and got a few dim sum - always tasty. We got some baked egg tarts - should have gotten... more. Great crust, too. We had the deep fried oysters - which really didn't taste like anything special. But the BIGDISAPPOINTMENT? We ordered kung pao beef for the next day. And when I went to heat it up today, it turned out to be vegetablefried rice. Totally not what were expecting. For what it was, the taste was fine. We arrived at 7:35pm to eat here after seeing they had a 9:00pm closing time online. They refused us for dine in but offered to... cook for us for take out saying they close at 8:00...fine. We then begin to order what we want and they told us it would taketoo long for them to cook because they are closing soon...why even offer if you're just going to decline service anyways. Totalwaste of our time. At least have accurate business hours posted, it's the least you could do. Read more
Sweet and sour pork was very greasy, tuff and way too thin. There was Hair in the chow mein and also in the crispy tofu. Crispy... tofu was bland. Honey walnut shrimp was bland also, maybe it was the breading?? The water cups were dirty. The waitress was intoo much of a hurry for us to order making it not a very pleasant experience. The individual fish plates were not available. Therestaurant itself is very nice inside. We went in the afternoon before their break at 3:00 p.m. the bill was 71.xx not includingtip.
