Our mains were delicious with great flavour, I have eaten here before and enjoyed the atmosphere out front and enjoyed the food. This time, we were seated in the back of the restaurant beside the bar, we could hardly hear ourselves talk over the cutlery drying that was happening right beside us, and the waitress banter about drinks and big groups and credit cards - I felt like I was eating in the kitchen. When we got our desserts, there was a white cat or dog hair in the dessert, but no one was available to check in on us, so we pulled it out and ate around it. We were already given the bill early for the meal because our waitress was busy with her big group upstairs. I told one waitress about the hair and she seemed shocked and told the kitchen, but no one offered to do anything about it, so when it came time to pay, I asked if that dessert could be removed from the bill. The restaurant still charged us for half of the dessert which felt like we were splitting hairs. Lol. Overall, if you are seated in the back, ask for a different table, and if there?s hair in your food, point it out early I guess! Our waitress was lovely.
We ordered the Chicken Buddha Bowl and the Beef Tenderloin, both of which were made to perfection. Todd of great flavour and it absolutely hit the spot for both of us. They also make some great red sangria.
It is a very FINE restaurant. Must try when you visit Grand Bend. Food takes time but it is very delicious. Good things come to those who wait they say. Service is not bad. Make sure you book a reservation. Also, their desserts. Not a sweet tooth but the mousse that we got ????
We visited for dinner last night for the 8:00 p.m. seating. We wanted to try it before the summer mayhem starts. Everything was delicious. We had excellent service. Most of the menu is either gluten free or can be modified and there are even two dessert options that are gluten free. We definitely want to return! Note: Reservations well in advance are required during the busy summer season.
Such a cute and cozy spot! So happy my girlfriends and I decided to check this place out this past weekend during our visit to Grand Bend. The ambiance, service and food were all perfect. Each one of us left satisfied. Would definitely love to come back here again!
Excellent food. Attentive and careful service. Cozy atmosphere (tent outside with tinkley lights, white linen tablecloth and napkins etc. Pictured are chocolate mousse, coconut cream pie and pistachio gelato chocolate chip cookie sandwich (all house made). Lamb bolognese and a buttermilk fried chicken Buddah bowl and Caesar salad with a homemade parmesan bread stick (instead of croutons). The breadstick was an awesome twist on the traditional crouton or breadstick. It was hot, crispy on the outside and soft/pillowy on the inside. Yum!
On a family vacation. We all thoroughly enjoyed the quality food. Great service. Highly recommend.
Food was amazing. We were under the tent in a torrential downpour but the service and food well made up for the bad weather. The waitress informed us that there were only 2 bowls of chowder left.......and we took them both! Yummy. Will definitely go back when we are in Grand Bend again.
One of the best reason to visit Grand Bend is to experience Fine-A-Restaurant. We offer a great time for people everywhere and our delicious seafood is the reason people keep coming back for more. If you'd like to ask us some questions or make a reservation call us at (519) 238-6224.
