Had a wonderful meal here tonight. Buffalo Dill wings good and a nice change from hot wings. Both my husband and I had excellent burgers. I had the Goddess burger and would highly recommend. Hubby had the bacon cheesebuger and said it was excellent as well. Nice vibe, good service and excellent food.
I have never been so disappointed with an overall experience eating out before today. The food wasn?t good, I only had two bites of my meal before giving up on it. The avocado was hard and not even ripe and the ahi tuna was fishy and the sauce wasn?t helping mask the taste. I was with a group of 11 and everyone else was equally disappointed. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and 1hr30mins for our food and some of us even longer.. nothing was done to make things better just a sorry for the wait guys. Never coming back again and if you are thinking of giving them another chance, save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else in town ?
Travelling through town we called in for a beer and a burger. Staff were very friendly, beer selection is great. Good food and great atmosphere, best place we found in town.
Wow , the staff here are beyond amazing. We popped in right before the kitchen was closed and they were more than happy to accommodate these hungry travellers. Every single person that we came in to contact with was so friendly and welcoming. The portions were huge and the food tasted great ! A must go to pub in Grand Forks !
Nice selection of pub fare, and reasonable prices. We arrived a bit ahead of the dinner hour on a Saturday and had no issues getting a table or with service. Our server was personable and attentive. Although "pub style" kids seem to be welcome here which makes it convenient for families.
The worst service and food I?ve had in a long time! Went for lunch and we both had the roast beef dip, it?s not complicated, but when you get a sandwich that smells and tastes like rotten meat you should just run! Not impressed by the new ownership.
Attended the Michael Charles evening. Firstly, the service was good, food on the other hand....we were provided with a limited menu for the event and it appears they went overboard with the pub?s new toy aka ?the Smoker?. Almost everything offered was smoked. We ordered the 10 oz steak with fries. First round the fries were so overdone it was like snapping twigs with your teeth and cold. My MR steak was well done and below room temperature. My partner?s steak and fries were same. Sorry but with todays prices, it was sent back and they were gracious and apologetic. 2nd round was better but a smoked steak? Really could you warn me, it was not written on the menu and to be honest it was just not a good taste. This shouldn?t be done to a steak. Personal preference, maybe but i would not have wanted my steak ruined with a heavy smokey flavour if i knew that was what they were doing to it. Staff were pleasant.
new owners are making a difference ! nice selection of craft beers and a good sized wine list. Had beef dip and some wings.... both delicious!. very friendly staff, still working out the kinks it seems, but definitely putting in the effort.
