We got some bagels and croissants. The shop was cute, products looked delicious and people working there were kind and patient.... I tried the peanut butter cup croissant and it was good. Then I had the butter herb pretzel bomb. It was unfortunately doughyinside. I went back inside and asked about it. It was not that they were not kind or receptive, but maybe because of thenon-assertive way I asked, the young lady kindly told me they put cream cheese and that was the reason. Well, I examined moreand it is not. I am not sure if this was a one time thing for their pretzel bomb or it is how they do it, but trying to eat itis not a pleasant experience. As always, a pleasant atmosphere and wonderful food. Their theme today was based on the Mario series, along with Donkey Kong and... Kirby, which gets bonus points from a nerdy gamer like me ???? we tried meat egg and cheese sandwiches on their Toadstool bagelsand the Kirby's Dreamland red velvet cake, with I believe strawberry cream cheese frosting? Absolutely fantastic, along with thehot tea I tried, which was a lemon chamomile with half and half and 2 truvia packets, tastes like lemon custard and is now a newfave tea! It all looked so good I had a hard time deciding. Landed on a quiche that did not disappoint, it was loaded with meat and cheesy... goodness. At first I was disappointed they didn't have lattes, but they gave me a squirt of caramel and the coffee was smoothand delicious. Definitely coming back. Read more
