Seems to be a local chain and it was busy for a Thursday night. I was at a nearby hotel without a car and it was walking... distance. The service was great, friendly, just the right level of attentiveness. High value. Small sirloin, mashed potatoesand gravy, onion rings and 2 glasses of wind for $42. Food was not impressive at all. I have never seen a steak like what wasserved. Clearly tenderized and looked more like a piece of Salisbury steak than sirloin. It was cooked as I ordered, medium butnot anything I would ever want again. The onion rings were frozen/fried and the mashed potatoes were only saved because theywere swimming in gravy. The service was fast and friendly. Krystalyn was our server and she was the best waitress I have had in years! She was prompt... and paid attention. I said my steak was fine and she noticed it wasn't cooked how I asked and brought me a hot plate to touch upthe middle parts:-) Rolls and bitter are also amazing! Would definitely go back!! Read more
Just not good at all. Went in at 8:30 with the sign saying they were open till 11 pm. Staff seemed really annoyed since they... were cleaning and closing most of the sections. We were told after we ordered and our food was brought out - missing items -that the kitchen was closed but we could have a free soda. Why would the kitchen be closed if the place is still open? The saladwas very old and brown lettuce. No rolls because we were told they were thrown away when the kitchen closed. Fries were old andsoggy. Very good option for lunches. There are gluten free options, including steaks, chicken, shrimp, salads, fries, baked potatoes,... burgers with gluten free buns and more. My kids had the gluten free cheese burgers and grilled cheeses (on a GF bun). I had the8oz sizzler sirloin that came out on a sizzling hot plate, and my wife had the Traverse City grilled chicken salad. Everythingcame out hot, seasoned well, and appropriately prepared. My sizzler was perfectly medium, which can be hard for the tip steakdue to the odd, non-typical flat cut. We all enjoyed our meals and will be back again. The restaurant offered a casual, quieteratmosphere. However, it wasn't busy and I'm sure it's normally loud. Prices are competitive and less expensive than largerchains like Outback, Logan's, and Longhorn Steakhouses. My only complaint is that they no longer have the staple steakhouseCaesar Salad. Read more
