Super cool little gem that we found while trying to find a good breakfast place. They had a large offering of crepes, both... savory and sweet, that were large in size and considerably filled. Space is airy and light, but pretty small, so a group wouldwant to show up early. Coffee was also great! Perhaps not at specialty level, but definitely above diner level. Read more
Don’t be turned off by the old building that houses this diamond in the rough. Great crepes are hard to find in Michigan, and... this Grand Rapids Creperie is attempting to close the gap. The strawberry vanilla French soda at Brown Butter Creperie isexcellent, just like the drip and espresso drinks. The three crepes pictured in this review are wonderful too. Recommendationsfor the restaurant: Make the batter crunchier for the blueberry/goat cheese to keep its consistency to the last bite. Servethe whipped cream as a side to keep the consistency of the crepes. Make the whipped cream thicker. The lemon compote isoverwhelming at times. Super cute place, we were the last patrons in the door before they had to close early that day due to staffing issues. Be sure... to call before you go to make sure they are open, we drove 45 min to check it out so thankfully we made the cut. It was soooooworth it! The ambiance is adorable, the crepes are divine. Went here with my boyfriend sometime in the morning. It's an adorable small crepe shop. I ordered a France crepe and a... lemon/sugar crepe. It was quite busy there and very packed. They don't have that much seating space so we had to standaround. The crepes were pretty good though. They didn't overdo it on the Nutella thankfully for the France crepe. Read more
