New favorite place to eat when we drive through GR. Stopped in before our stop to Sacred Springs down the street and we were... glad we did stop. We ordered plantains and soup for appetizers, and the plantains are a must. If you?re not used to spicy foodbe careful of the slaw though. For entrees we ordered the curry goat and creole chicken. We couldn?t even take a pic beforetaking a few bites. If you?re not used to spicy don?t order above a level 5 and if you think ketchup has a bite order a0????. This is homemade food made with love and we can?t wait to stop by again soon. Read more
This is a classic case of less than ideal service (to put it kindly) but amazing flavorful meals! Ms Olga wasn?t the nicest to... my group initially but from the looks of things we figured she was stressed running a one woman show. Still doesn?t excuse herattitude but it made us a bit more empathetic and less upset. Anyways on to the food! My party had the platter - shrimp wasperfectly crisp, plantain was the right texture, coleslaw was a pleasant spicy surprise, patty was????????,sauce was ????. Ihad the curry goat spice level 5. Portion size was well worth the price, the Goat meat was tender, and while I initiallycouldn?t feel the spice it kicked in as I kept eating. Read more
Delicious food always!! Every time I eat here I am always left satisfied. There is so much love and care put into their food.... The people who run it are lovely and kind. All the food is made to order so you can choose a lot of what you want, spice levelincluded. Lots of vegetarian options as well which keeps me coming back! Read more
Amazing is not strong enough word. We been trying to get here for a couple months now. Worth the wait! The goat was amazing the... seafood gumbo was to die for! Broccoli sensation was incredible! Serenely try the ragu! The sauce is the best and rice and beanswas just too much awesome!! Read more

Great place. Totally unexpected. Randomly went here looking for Jamaican Patties ending up getting everything but. Food was... outstanding owner was extremely personable. Soursop drinks were a must have as well as the fried pork appetizer. Will 100% goback this should be a must stop place if in Grand Rapids. Read more
