This location has been consistently good for years! Always good anytime of day/night. Unique menu items and always made fresh.... The only reason I'm giving four stars is because of quality of food. It's good but not the best that's out there. Read more
Grand Coney Yesterday I ordered the Junkyard Dog Basket (2 Koegel hot dogs with chili, seasoned ground beef, bacon, onions,... jalapeños, mustard, cayenne pepper, and Colby cheese with a side of onion rings). This is now my go to dog! The Koegel dogsare high quality and tasty and go incredibly well with the cornucopia of delicious toppings. I'll definitely be eating theseagain multiple times down the road. Also ordered a Chicago Dog (Koegel hot dog with sport peppers, neon relish, onion, tomato,mustard, celery salt on a poppy seed bun). While this was quite tasty, the sport peppers seemed a bit off, very chewy, but itwas still a very good dog. The major disappointment here was the onion rings. Never have I had such soggy greasy onion rings,so much so that my convection oven/air fryer could not bring any crispiness to them which has never happened before withdelivered onion rings. They were dripping grease! Likely they had sat around well before the hot dogs were ready, possibly theoil in the fryer was not hot enough. One bite was enough to send them to the trash. Because of this and the fact that I had topay extra, plus that they actually sent them to a customer I'm giving a three-star rating, if I had just had the dogs it wouldhave been a hard five.
